I have a lot to explain with this peice, so bare with me.
This is the first time i have coloured in this style and the first time I have coloured with a stylus pen and tablet. Woah hoo!
There are things I am not happy about in this piece, the main one is that i didn't show a main light source, this has that pretend light that is kind of coming from everywhere. Saying that, i kind of did that for a reason, when I started colouring this i realised that keeping a consistant light-source and learning to use the tablet was a little too much for me to handle... Some have called me lazy for this (you know who you are! LOL). However, I am pretty happy with how this has turned out, yeah there is stuff that went wrong and i rushed it, but this was my first colouring attempt with a tablet and i am thinking that I learnt a lot from doing this and hopefully any more i do will just get better and better.
I hope you like. I also did some artistic licence with Nightcrawlers' eyes (yes i know they don't glow, but i wanted to do a cool glow effect) and his powers are kind of funky here. But hey who cares, this was to practice colouring not like it's a commission or anything!
I can't wait to actually get around to drawing some pictures of my own and colouring my own work, some of my own characters and stuff.
